1. How long was your night? Tell us about it here.
Incredibly long! the baby would not stop crying from 9:45 to about 3 AM - Nick K.

3. What was the least fun part of the project for you?

4. How did your family members react to the baby?
My parents said it brought back memories in good and bad ways, and my brother hated it - Nick K.

5. How did your friends and/or coworkers react to the baby?
Most of my friends thought it was funny seeing me with the baby carriage, and my boss got a kick out of it - Nick K.
They loved it and helped me carry the baby throughout the day, i had like 6 different babysitters during the schoolday
My friends liked it becuase they didn't have to take care of it all day like me.-Shana R

6. What specific problems did you encounter with the project?

It kept me from doing my daily routine.-Shea
It restricted me from doing some of my daily activities like going to the gym. Alissa G.
It restricted me from doing things that i do the most which is playing games with family members. Alysa S.

I didn't have any problems with the project... Except my baby apparently had 3 head support issues... Which didn't happen but whatever. - Kendra

my biggest problem was that my mom did not let me go to the gym with the baby because she did not want me driving with her- Ashleyb

7. Did you discover that your baby had a pattern of wants/needs? Explain.
The baby had a pattern of eating and rocking for hours it seemed - Nick K.
Yes,it always wanted to eat for 10 minutes straight - Will M
Yes. it always wanted to eat and be rocked.- Shana R
Everytime it ate, it needed a diaper change.-Shea
Yes. It went: Bottle, Burp, Diaper, Rock, for the most part. Alissa G.
Yes. It mostly wanted to eat, be rocked or burped, then changed. Emily V.
Yes. It wanted to be fed, then burped, then fed and diaper changed and then rocked to sleep for 40 minutes.-Jocleyn G

I did notice a pattern with my baby's needs but I don't remember them... Sophie slept for the most part. - Kendra

yes i knew that after i changed my babies diaper she did not need it changed for a while

8. How realistic did you think this project was? Explain.
I thought for the most part it was realistic! "except for the actual messes a real baby would make" as my mom says - Nick K.
It was pretty realistic as i barely had any time for myself and all the time went to the baby - Will M
It was pretty realistic becuase you didn't get much time to yourself without having to care for it-Shana R
Mentally I thought it was really realistic it just didn't add the financial burden on teen moms. Alissa G.
It was pretty realistic when it came down to revolving your day around what the baby needed. Emily V.

Ash B.? Not very realistic because when my little cousin was born she never cried all the things she needed was just handed to her. but the crying noises was realistic. Ashley...the babies are not necessarily newborn...maybe yours was several months old! They are set randomly...



9. What did you learn from taking the baby for 24 hours?
I am not fit to raise a child at 16, what so ever - Nick K.

Its hard work that no teen wants to deal with at this age.-Shana R

10. What advice would you give another student before taking the baby?

I would advise the next baby-taker to isolate themselves for the whole day they have the baby... It's easier that way. - Kendra

When it's sleeping in the afternoon try to take a nap because it'll be up all night. -Alexa R. Good advice!
